Yanting Luo-Plevin

Yanting Luo-Plevin is a Senior Cell Engineer at Clarios since May 2019, with extensive experience in lithium-ion cell development, including leading power cell projects and collaborating on energy cell development. Prior to Clarios, Yanting worked at Johnson Controls from February 2013 to May 2019 in a similar role, focusing on anode material screening and cost reduction for energy storage applications. Yanting's early career includes a Technology & Innovation Internship at Johnson Controls - Power Solutions in 2012, concentrating on lithium-sulfur battery investigation for electric vehicles. Yanting holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland's A. James Clark School of Engineering, an MBA from Lubar College of Business, and a BS/MS certificate in Chemical Engineering from Zhejiang University. An undergraduate exchange student program was completed at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, complemented by a high school education at Hangzhou Foreign Language School.
