Maria Cruz Garcia is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in industrial property law and intellectual property. Currently serving as the Country Managing Director for ClarkeModet Portugal since January 2020, Maria holds multiple leadership roles including Regional Managing Director for Portugal and PALOP countries, as well as CEO and Business Development Director. Prior to this, Maria spent over a decade at J.Pereira da Cruz S.A., where responsibilities included Head of Foreign Litigation and Head of Marketing and Communication Departments. Additional experience includes legal practice at Pereira da Cruz & Associados, contributions as a Portuguese author for the World Trademark Review, and lecturing on intellectual property law. Maria's educational qualifications include multiple post-graduate degrees and seminars in intellectual property and law from prestigious Portuguese institutions.
