Erick O'Reilly has extensive work experience in the field of information security. Erick started their career as an Information Security Analyst at Compañia Dominicana de Telefonos (CODETEL) from 2001 to 2004. Following that, they joined Verizon as an Information Security Analyst from 2004 to 2008. Since 2008, Erick has been working at Claro RD, where they initially held the position of Information Security Consultant. Currently, they serve as the Chief Information Security Officer. Erick has been responsible for various projects, including ensuring PCI DSS compliance for CLARO Dominican Republic.
Erick O'Reilly obtained a Master's degree in Management from the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo from 2006 to 2008. Additionally, they hold a degree in Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad APEC. Erick also possesses certifications including ISO/IEC 27005 Lead Risk Manager from PECB obtained in 2022 and ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer from PECB obtained in 2021.
