The Product Development Manager is responsible for delivering HUB24’s platform product strategy, overseeing aspects of the product lifecycle, and driving delivery through agile methodologies.

You will own the product roadmap, and champion user-centric design principles. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the advice and wealth management landscape by delivering best-in-class solutions.

This will be a 12 months fixed term contract.

Responsibilities

  • The primary objectives of the position are to:

Product Strategy and Ownership:- Define and own the product roadmap, aligning with business objectives, market trends, and client needs.

  • Lead product ownership within a Scrum team, ensuring product backlog is well-defined, prioritised, and aligned with agile delivery practices.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to articulate product vision, strategy, and measurable outcomes.

Agile Product Development:- Drive product development using agile methodologies, actively participating in sprints, reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Work closely with Scrum teams to ensure continuous delivery of high-value features that address customer pain points.
  • Champion iterative development and continuous feedback to enhance product quality and usability.

User-Centred Design and Research:- Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, and market analysis to deeply understand customer needs.

  • Use insights from data and customer feedback to drive informed product decisions.
  • Promote user-centric design principles to deliver intuitive and impactful solutions.

Stakeholder Collaboration:- Partner with technology, growth, and operations teams to align on product goals and deliverables.

  • Communicate product updates and outcomes to senior management and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Up-to-date knowledge of both Australian and international financial markets.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies.
  • A relevant degree or equivalent experience in Wealth Management and/or Financial Services.
  • Knowledge and interest in how financial advisers and their clients use platforms and financial products.
  • Client Focus: Enthusiastic about tackling complex customer challenges and diving deep into their needs.
  • A passion for developing a thorough understanding of why and how customers engage with our products.
  • Facilitating Teamwork: Proven ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, gather insights, and inspire cooperation to achieve shared goals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives that help maintain or extend HUB24’s leadership in the market.
  • Leading Business Excellence: Strong organisational and time management skills, adept at balancing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
