Alex Li

Alex Li is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in leading software development teams at prominent technology companies. Currently serving as Engineering Lead at ClassDojo since January 2023, Alex previously held the position of Director of Software Engineering at Twitter, overseeing various projects including Tweets, Fleets, and Creators. As a co-founder and CTO of Chroma Labs, which was acquired by Twitter, Alex focused on enhancing visual sharing on social media. Earlier roles at Facebook included Senior Engineering Manager for Facebook Watch and Video, where Alex launched Facebook Watch and contributed to video consumption experiences across multiple platforms. As an Engineering Manager at Instagram, accomplishments included the development of Instagram Stories and other impactful features. Alex commenced a career at Facebook, starting as a Software Engineer, and holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University.
