Ilya Gidalevich has extensive experience in the arts management sector, currently serving as Vice President of Artistic Planning at The Cleveland Orchestra since January 2016, where roles have also included Director of Artistic Planning and Artistic Administrator. Prior to this, Ilya worked at Opus 3 Artists as Manager of Artists and Attractions from March 2009 to December 2015. Earlier in professional career, Ilya was an Analyst at Goldman Sachs for one year. Educationally, Ilya holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Political Science from Yale University, obtained in 2006.

The Cleveland Orchestra, based in Cleveland, is one of the five American orchestras informally referred to as the "Big Five". Founded in 1918 by the pianist and impresario Adella Prentiss Hughes, the orchestra plays most of its concerts at Severance Hall.
