Igor Minar is a Senior Director of Engineering at Cloudflare, a position held since November 2021. Prior to this, Igor spent over eleven years at Google as a Staff Software Engineer, focusing on empowering web developers through Angular and AngularJS. Previously, Igor worked at Oracle as a Senior Software Engineer for a brief period following the Sun Microsystems acquisition, and at Sun Microsystems as a Software Engineer and technical lead for the Community Engineering team. Igor began the professional journey as an intern at Sun Microsystems, where contributions included developing JSP-based applications and enhancements for JSPWiki. Early experience also includes a role as Assistant to the IT Manager at Amrop Jenewein Group, concentrating on website development in PHP and MySQL. Igor holds a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from Ekonomická univerzita v Bratislave, earned between 2000 and 2005.
