Simon Johnson

Simon Johnson has extensive work experience in the technology industry, with a focus on engineering and storage solutions. Simon is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Cloudian Inc since 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Distinguished Engineer at Pivot3 from 2018 to 2020. From 2017 to 2018, Simon held the position of VP Engineering at Nexsan, specializing in E Series Storage. Before that, Simon spent several years at Hitachi Data Systems in various senior director roles, leading the development of next-generation storage appliances and strategic product planning. Simon started their career at BlueArc UK Ltd as a Senior Director in Software Engineering and then worked at Madge Networks as a Principal Software Engineer.

Simon Johnson attended The Kings School in Peterborough from 1986 to 1998. During this time, they studied maths, further maths, physics, and chemistry, but did not obtain any specific degree. Subsequently, from 1988 to 1991, they pursued a Mathematics degree in Pure and Applied at the University of Cambridge.
