Barry Oliphant is an experienced Advanced Rigger with a diverse background in various roles within the rigging and mechanical fields. Currently employed at Clough since September 2024, Barry has previously worked on the Talison lithium cgp3 project with Monodelphous from December 2023 to September 2024. Other notable positions include Advanced Rigger roles at Mondium and UGL Limited, where responsibilities involved rigging and dogging cranes, completing work area permits, and managing stock control. Barry began the career with a strong foundation as a Trade Assistant at UGL Limited, followed by roles at Alstom Power, Granite Services, RCR Tomlinson, and Bunbury Insulation & Sheetmetal, contributing extensive hands-on experience in crane operations, mechanical assembly, and leadership as a Supervisor. Educational credentials include a degree in Sheetmetal Engineering from Otago Polytechnic, obtained between 1984 and 1992.
