Mark Spektor, DO, MBA is a Board Certified physician in Emergency Medicine, and the Chief Medical Officer of Clover Health. Prior to this appointment he was the President and CEO of Bayonne Medical Center as well as Chief Clinical Integration Officer of CarePoint Health. Before being named CEO he served as SVP for Medical Affairs and Chief of the Emergency Department at Bayonne Medical Center. In addition, he has held various teaching positions and served as the Associate Residency Director in the Department of Emergency Medicine at SUNY-Downstate and he is currently an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at SUNY – Downstate in Brooklyn. Dr. Spektor has received awards for academic achievement from UMDNJ-SOM and served on the Curriculum Committee at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia. He has published numerous articles in peer reviewed journals in addition to several chapters in internationally recognized textbooks. He is a frequent Grand Rounds Presenter and Lecturer. He is a member of the American College of Physician Executives, American College of Emergency Physicians and the Society of Academic Emergency Medicine. His interests include population health management, quality management and design and implementation of better health care delivery systems. He received his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst.
