Laura Abreu Cravo

Laura Abreu Cravo is an experienced legal professional in the financial sector, currently serving as Head of the Financial Services Division at the Ministry of Finance of Portugal since November 2020. In tandem, Laura acts as Manager for Conduct Policy within the same division. Since February 2019, Laura has also been a Legal Advisor in the Investor Relations and Market Development Department at CMVM, concentrating on corporate governance, sustainable finance, and recent developments in corporate finance and FinTech. Prior roles include serving as a Legal Advisor at the Portuguese Securities Market Commission, where contributions were made to legislative and regulatory frameworks, and as a Senior Lawyer at CMS Rui Pena & Arnaut, specializing in banking and finance, capital markets, and corporate law.
