Raimundo Castro Aguirre has extensive experience in journalism and communication, currently serving as a Producer and Commentator at CNN Chile since August 2018, where responsibilities include executing live programs and providing international news commentary. Previously, Raimundo worked as a Writer and Reporter, contributing to content creation for CNN-CHV and gaining valuable experience in international, national, and entertainment news during a trainee position at CNN Chile. Raimundo holds a degree in Social Communication from Universidad Alberto Hurtado and has furthered education with a diploma in Political Communication from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, as well as completing specialized courses at the Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas.

CNN Chile began its broadcasts in December 2008, being the first Chilean news channel to broadcast 24 hours a day, as well as being the first local CNN signal in all of South America.
