Alanna Brownlee

Alanna Brownlee is a seasoned professional in broadcast journalism, currently serving as the CNN Newsource Technical Director and Editor Producer since June 2015, where responsibilities include editing video packages and directing live shots for over 900 TV stations. Alanna has held various roles at CNN, including Associate Producer for the 2p Newsroom and Domestic Associate Producer for Inside Politics, and has experience as a Cross Platform Associate Producer involved in collaborative projects across broadcast and digital platforms. Prior to CNN, Alanna held positions such as Staff Assistant at Duke University, Production Assistant at The National Press Club, and Editor and Feature Story Writer for Reynolds & Associates. Alanna's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from Hampton University, complemented by a minor in Theater.
