Co-operative College
Simon Thomson is an experienced educator and leader in the field of flexible and blended learning. Currently serving as the Director of Flexible Learning at The University of Manchester since July 2022, Simon supports the university's strategic initiatives in this area. At Leeds Beckett University, Simon has held multiple roles since November 2001, including Visiting Professor and Head of Digital Pedagogy, focusing on the development of flexible educational strategies leveraging technology. Additional positions include the Director of the Centre for Innovation in Education at the University of Liverpool from July 2018 to July 2022 and roles at various institutions such as Edge Hill University and the Co-operative College, where Simon contributes to strategic initiatives as a trustee and visiting fellow.
