Kevin serves as Senior Vice President and General Manager for CAES’ Space Systems Division, where he provides leadership to all business functions including engineering, operations, quality, business process improvement, strategy, program management and respective business area managers located in Colorado Springs, CO; Plainview, NY and Gothenburg, Sweden.
Prior to joining CAES, Kevin was an executive with United Technologies (UTC) Aerospace Systems. His prior roles included General Manager for N2 Imaging Systems, General Manager for F35 Aftermarket Program Office, and General Manager of Space Systems. In all cases, Kevin was responsible for leading the business to meet performance goals/objectives, develop business strategy and meet customer commitments, while directing integrated functional teams across multiple locations. Kevin also held various Program and Portfolio Manager positions while at UTC Aerospace Systems and Goodrich ISR Systems. His focus was on managing assigned programs from conception to production within program schedule and budget to optimize profit and meet growth objectives within the aerospace and defense markets. Additionally, Kevin served eight years active duty as an Engineer Officer in the United States Army. His active duty assignments included two combat tours in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom as part of the 3rd Infantry Division. Kevin continues to serve his country as a member of the Colorado Army National Guard.
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in general management/systems engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Master of Science degree in engineering management from University of Missouri-Rolla.
