Roger serves as the Senior Vice President of Human Resouces and CHRO for CAES, where he is responsible for developing a high performing, engaged workforce to deliver our mission-critical solutions to customers. In a career spanning over 25 years, Roger has deep human resources experience across several dynamic industries where he has aligned HR with business strategies, and managed organizational transformation.
Prior to joining CAES, Roger was the Senior Vice President, Human Resources at Amtrak in Washington, DC., a $6B passenger Railroad Company with over 21,000 employees that services over 31M customers annually. During his time at Amtrak, Roger was instrumental in establishing a talent management strategy that helped transform the culture. He rebuilt the HR Operations and Recruiting function while at Amtrak. Roger previously held various executive HR positions at Marriott Hotels, Morgans Hotel Group, and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). His focus was on developing strategies to advance human resources, enhance cost saving initiatives, build cohesive teams, and achieve desired results within these organizations. Additionally, Roger has led organization wide efforts to assess company cultures, define solutions, and execute against the HR Strategy to improve organizational performance and business outcomes.
Roger holds a Bachelor of Science degree in hotel restaurant management from Western Kentucky University and a Master of Science degree in human resource development from Marymount University.
