Maureen Lare

Maureen Lare is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in environmental coordination and education, currently serving as an Environmental Coordinator at Coeur Mining, Inc. since June 2020. Prior to this role, Maureen held positions as an Environmental Technician and worked as a Naturalist Science Guide at Gastineau Guiding Company, where leadership of hiking and whale-watching tours was a primary focus. Previous experience includes serving as a Marine Naturalist and Team Leader with the Pacific Whale Foundation, where oversight of eco-tours and crew management was integral. Additional roles at institutions such as Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institution and Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center provided further experience in education. Maureen holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The Ohio State University.
