Co-creator And Coordinator Of BA In Environmental & Sustainability Studies Program at Columbia College-Chicago

Michelle Rafacz is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in environmental and sustainability studies. Currently serving as the Co-creator and Coordinator of the Bachelor of Arts in Environmental & Sustainability Studies Program and Coordinator of the Minor in Environmental Studies at Columbia College Chicago since September 2012, Michelle also holds the position of Associate Professor of Biology at the same institution since July 2011. Additionally, Michelle contributes to Lincoln Park Zoo as an Adjunct Scientist and has previously worked there as a Postdoctoral Fellow since July 2010. Michelle's educational background includes a PhD and a Master of Science in Evolutionary Biology from the University of Chicago, as well as a Master of Science in Biology from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Environmental Science from Knox College.
