Soo Bin Park is a Research Software Engineer at Cognixion, conducting research on Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCI), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Extended Reality (XR), and Accessibility since January 2024. As an AR Developer focusing on accessibility and BCI, Soo Bin Park has developed AI-powered, non-invasive applications aimed at assisting individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders and brain or spinal injuries. Prior experience includes serving as an XR Community Mentor at XR Bootcamp, and conducting significant research at the Georgia Institute of Technology under Dr. Thad Starner, enhancing surgical visual acuity through AR solutions. Previous roles include a VR Developer Intern at Futurus, where optimization of the Oculus VR game was achieved, and leading a VR mealtime simulation project at Ewha Womans University, resulting in notable media features and publications. Soo Bin Park holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from Ewha Womans University, complemented by an exchange program at Lancaster University.
