Walt Bosenberg has extensive work experience in the field of laser technology. Walt started their career at Lightwave Electronics in 1993, where they served as a Research Group Manager, leading projects related to Laser-related SBIR contracts and the development of the Q-Series UV laser. In 1999, they joined JDS Uniphase as a Manager of Reliability, and later became the Product Development & Reliability Manager. In 2004, they joined Coherent as the Reliability, Quality & Laser Applications Manager, and eventually became the Director of Reliability, Quality, Service & Applications in 2010.
Walt Bosenberg earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1984. Walt then pursued a Master's and Ph.D. in Applied Physics at Cornell University from 1984 to 1990.
