Dawn Wise

Dawn Wise has extensive work experience, primarily in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Dawn currently holds the position of Senior Director of Product Development at Coherus BioSciences, a role they started in December 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Genentech for a total of 19 years in various roles. From 2017 to 2020, Dawn served as the Business Strategy and Operations leader, driving operational strategies, transformational change initiatives, and fostering collaboration with key stakeholders. Dawn also held the position of Functional Leader, Quality Planning & Portfolio Management from 2014 to 2017, where they focused on optimizing project delivery performance and leading a team in defining and delivering global strategic projects. Previously, at Genentech, Dawn held positions such as Head of Global Quality Program Office from 2009 to 2013 and Senior Project Manager from 2005 to 2009, where they were responsible for managing projects addressing compliance risk, improving efficiencies, and executing commercial regulatory and quality strategies. Before their time at Genentech, Dawn worked at CertainTeed Corporation as a Process Engineer and later as a Plant Engineer, where they designed and implemented process improvement projects and trained employees in Six-Sigma Green Belt methodologies.

Dawn Wise has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Global Management from the University of Phoenix. Dawn also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach. Additionally, they have obtained a Black Belt Certification in Six Sigma Statistical Process Controls from Allied Signal Inc and certifications in LEAN for Managers from the Center for Continuing Education and GMP Compliance from the Center for Continuing Education. In 2018, they completed a certification in Business Acumen from Acumen Learning.
