Leah Bressack is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law, regulatory compliance, and criminal prosecution. Currently serving as Vice President Legal at Coinbase since November 2020, Leah leads a team of over 20 lawyers and heads the International Legal department. Prior to this role, Leah worked at Facebook as a Strategic Counselor to the General Counsel, where significant contributions were made towards regulatory outreach for the Libra cryptocurrency project and compliance with various global privacy laws. Leah's background includes serving as a Senior Advisor at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, focusing on sanctions and anti-money laundering guidance for virtual currency businesses. Additionally, Leah served in various roles at the U.S. Department of Justice, where crucial initiatives against health care and corporate fraud were coordinated. Leah's legal education includes a JD from Vanderbilt University Law School and a BA from Bowdoin College, where a double major in Government and French was completed.
