James B. is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Director of Engineering at CoinDesk since January 2025. Prior to this role, James was Head of Engineering at CCData from February 2018 to January 2025, and held various positions at De La Rue from October 2010 to February 2018, including Software Developer and IS Developer, where contributions included the design and implementation of an authentication service for ruggedized mobile devices and the creation of an IS Service Catalogue. James holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from the University of Portsmouth, obtained between September 2008 and June 2012.
