Matt Sonnen has a diverse and extensive work experience in the wealth management industry. Matt currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Coldstream Wealth Management, where they guide high net-worth clients in achieving their financial and lifestyle goals. Prior to this, Matt founded and served as CEO of PFI Advisors, working exclusively with billion-dollar breakaway teams. Matt also worked as a Vice President at Focus Financial Partners, where they assisted in transitioning broker teams and building RIA firms. Earlier in their career, Matt held various roles at Luminous Capital and Merrill Lynch, gaining in-depth knowledge of the wirehouse model.
Matt Sonnen attended UC Santa Barbara from 1993 to 1995 but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study during this time. From 1995 to 1997, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at UCLA.
