Mark del Mastro

Associate Provost For Academic & International Programs at College of Charleston

Mark Del Mastro is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in Hispanic studies and language education. Since July 2010, Mark has held multiple leadership positions at the College of Charleston, including Professor of Hispanic Studies, Associate Provost for Academic & International Programs, Associate Provost for Curriculum and Academic Administration, and Chair of Hispanic Studies, as well as serving as Interim Chair of German & Slavic Studies. Prior to this role, Mark was involved with The Citadel from August 1992 to June 2010, where responsibilities included Chair of Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures, and various faculty positions in Spanish. Mark earned a Ph.D. in Spanish language and literature from the University of Virginia and holds multiple degrees from Middlebury College and Wake Forest University.
