Levi Ekanger

Levi Ekanger is an experienced academic in the field of chemistry, currently serving as Associate Professor of Chemistry at The College of New Jersey since July 2019, following a previous role as Assistant Professor of Chemistry. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Researcher position at Caltech from August 2016 to May 2019, and a Graduate Research Assistant role at Wayne State University from August 2012 to August 2016, where notable research included the synthesis and application of Eu(II/III)-containing complexes for magnetic resonance imaging. Early in the academic career, Levi served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and an Undergraduate Research Assistant, contributing to research on boranes and carboranes while also instructing general chemistry labs. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from Wayne State University and a B.S. in Chemistry from Northern Michigan University, along with a mathematics minor.
