Oshitha Ilanganthilaka

Oshitha Ilanganthilaka has extensive experience in the shipbuilding and repair industry, currently serving as Ship Repair Manager at Colombo Dockyard PLC since August 2011. With a background as a Senior Engineer in ship outfitting, Oshitha has managed various outfitting tasks, including the fabrication of cargo hatch covers for bulk carriers. Additionally, as an Engineer in Hull Treatment, responsibilities included surface preparation and compliance with IMO PSPC requirements, holding NACE Level 2 coating inspector qualifications. Prior experience includes working as a Project Engineer in industrial coating at Star of Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, overseeing painting projects and collaborating with diverse stakeholders. Oshitha holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Peradeniya.
