Colorado Mountain School
Eric Haskell is an experienced professional in the fields of medicine and outdoor adventure. Currently serving as an Orthopedic Physician Assistant at Valley View Hospital since March 2022, Eric also holds the position of Avalanche Course Leader at Colorado Mountain School since November 2021. Previous experience includes roles as Lead Guide and Risk Manager at KENT MOUNTAIN ADVENTURE CENTER, INC., and Ski Guide/Risk Manager at Steamboat Powdercats, where responsibilities encompassed staff training and safety program updates. Eric's background also includes providing emergency medical services as an EMT with Eagle County Paramedic Services and leading mountaineering expeditions as a Patrol Leader with NOLS. Eric holds a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Rocky Vista University and has additional education in Pre-Medicine and Philosophy.
