Dave Schroeder

Dave Schroeder is a Principal Materials Engineer at Columbia Helicopters, where employment began in August 2007. With extensive expertise in engineered materials and manufacturing processes within the aerospace sector, Dave possesses strong skills in metallurgical engineering, welding engineering, and powder coating techniques. Previously, as Manager of Materials & Processes Engineering, Dave led a team focused on the operational support of various helicopter models and was responsible for material selection and new part manufacturing processes. Prior experience includes a role as Sr. Manufacturing Engineer at Aerojet Rocketdyne, where responsibilities involved supporting the design development of major components for the Orion liquid engine program. Dave holds a Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
