Stephanie Fortener has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Stephanie is currently serving as a Managing Director at SaaS Capital since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Board Member at Rev1 Ventures, starting in May 2020. Before that, they worked as a Partner at Dreadnought Capital from July 2019. Stephanie also served as Treasurer Board of Directors at Columbus Zoo and Aquarium from November 2017 and as President Board Of Trustees at Columbus Humane from November 2015. Stephanie's earlier experience includes working at Crane Investment Company, where they held the roles of Vice President from January 2017 to January 2022, and Director of Investments from January 2012 to December 2017. Stephanie began their career as an Investment Manager at Crane Investment Company, LLC from June 2007 to December 2011.
Stephanie Fortener earned their J.D. degree in Law from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, completing their education from 2004 to 2007.

For 134 years, Columbus Humane has been sheltering homeless animals, fighting animal cruelty and neglect, and offering programs to address the needs of animals in our community. More than 92 percent of our funding is provided by donations and fees for services. We are not a government agency, and we do not receive general operating support from national organizations.
