Ram Ranganathan

Ram Ranganathan is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in network strategy and product leadership. Currently serving as Senior Director of Technology for the Access Networks Business Strategy at CommScope since May 2017, Ram specializes in areas such as Virtualized Access, Low Latency DOCSIS, 5G backhaul/xhaul, and OpenRAN, while also engaging with standards organizations like CableLabs and IETF. Previously, as Senior Director at ARRIS, Ram led the development of a Cloud DVR solution and supervised multi-site software engineering for cloud-based video streaming products. Ram's background also includes roles as VP of Engineering at SeaWell Networks, where recognition included a Technical Emmy, and managerial positions at BorderWare Technologies and Chantry Networks, contributing to the advancement of software security and enterprise WiFi solutions. Ram holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from The University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications from Anna University Chennai.
