As Chief Operating Officer, Marion (Mimi) Scotchmer advances Community Connections as a leader in the fields of behavioral health and residential services. Ms. Scotchmer is a results-oriented innovator with 15 years of experience leading and managing effective teams. She oversees mission-equipping initiatives at the intersection of program development and fiscal sustainability. Additionally, Ms. Scotchmer continues to guide Community Connections’ Clinical Housing Department – a $10M portfolio of supportive housing programs to end homelessness, promoting housing stability, and enhancing overall wellness. Ms. Scotchmer is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with substantial experience in the delivery, management, and evaluation of recovery-oriented residential and community-based rehabilitative services. Ms. Scotchmer previously worked in social science and educational research. Ms. Scotchmer earned a Master’s degree from the University of Chicago's School of Social Services Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in socio-cultural Anthropology and Asian Studies from the University of Virginia.
