Prior to this, Joe worked in various roles in fundraising, project management, and youth work for organizations such as the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families, North Yorkshire Police, Hestia Charity, and the Islamic Society of Britain. Joe's experience includes leading teams, securing funding, and developing projects to address issues such as mental health, domestic abuse, and youth engagement. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration and Human Resource Studies from London Metropolitan University.

Itdelegates the day-to-day running of the organisation to the chief executive and her senior management team.The chief executive and her senior management team are responsible for delivering the strategy and policies set by the board. They oversee the day-to-day running of the Fund.Their work is divided into five portfolios, covering funding across England, Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland, and the UK as a whole.
