Community Integrated Services
Mia Decker is an experienced professional currently serving as the Manager of Employment Services at Community Integrated Services since September 2020. Previously, Mia worked at The Pottery Cove from May 2014 to September 2020, managing store operations and customer interactions while actively participating in the family-owned business. Mia also served as a Student Mentor at Temple University from August 2018 to May 2020, assisting non-matriculated students with Autism and intellectual disabilities. Involvement with Delta Kappa Delta Sorority, Inc. included various leadership roles from April 2017 to May 2019, focusing on community service and sisterhood development. An internship at Senator Ben Cardin's Office in 2016 provided valuable experience in office operations and constituent engagement. Mia holds a Master's degree in English Literature and a Bachelor's degree in English from Temple University, complemented by minors in History and Spanish.

Community Integrated Services’ mission is to empower people with disabilities through individualized employment opportunities that foster self-sustainability, equality, and community. Through partnerships with area businesses and organizations, CIS works to find jobs that fulfill the employment goals and desires for the people they serve. We believe that all people have the right and responsibility to be an active part of their community, regardless of their disability, and Community Integrated Services helps people with disabilities achieve their employment goals. We provide support during the job search, during the first days at a new job, and then continue support at work on an as-needed basis. We have an innovative, creative staff that comes from diverse backgrounds, and we use our talent and expertise to help find jobs that are a great match for each individual's skills and interests.
