Ben Ryan

Ben Ryan is an experienced educator currently serving as the Founding English Teacher at Comp Sci High since 2018, where the Urban Assembly School of Computer Science aims to be New York State's first Career Technical Education charter school. In addition to teaching, Ben has held roles such as Grade Team Lead and English Department Lead, overseeing curriculum development and professional initiatives. Previously, Ben taught English Language Arts at Success Academy Charter Schools and held various teaching positions at USD 231. Ben began professional work as an Orientation Assistant at the University of Kansas and holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in English/Language Arts Education from the same institution.
