Lisa Ewell

Lisa Ewell, MBA, currently serves as the Chief People Officer at Compass Rose Public Schools, a position held since December 2020, after progressing through roles including Vice President of Human Resources and Director of Human Resources. Ewell’s prior experience includes directing human resources and organizational development at The DoSeum, where a focus on full life cycle talent acquisition, performance management, and staff engagement was emphasized. Previous positions include Project Manager at Academica Management SW LLC, where payroll processing improvements were implemented for charter schools, and Adult Learning and Mentoring Manager at Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas, where training programs were developed for a large volunteer base. Ewell began a foundational career in human resources at Accenture, supporting various industries in career development and employee satisfaction. Ewell holds an MBA in Management Information Systems from NYU Stern School of Business and a BA in Political Science from Northwestern University.
