Margaret R. Smith

Margaret R. Smith is an accomplished HR professional with significant experience in talent management and executive leadership. Currently serving as the Head of HR at Compass since 2017, Margaret has previously held roles including Deputy Head of HR and Global Head of Talent. Margaret co-founded Rich Talent Group, where responsibilities included building executive leadership teams for prominent companies such as Airbnb, Dropbox, and Uber from April 2014 to July 2017. Earlier in their career, experiences included positions at Russell Reynolds Associates as an Executive Search Consultant and Associate, and at SS+K as an Account Executive and Client Finance Associate. Margaret holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Hamilton College and has completed a semester abroad at The University of the South Pacific.
