Stefano Vassena

Stefano Vassena is an experienced communication professional with a strong background in public relations and social media management. Currently serving as Spokesperson for the Mayor of Lecco since December 2020, Vassena previously worked as Press Officer and Social Media Manager for the Comitato per Mauro Gattinoni Sindaco. Additional roles include a position at the European Commission as a communication support intern for DG DEVCO, and as a Communication Assistant for both Fondazione Arché Onlus and ALDA European Association for Local Democracy, where communication, social media, and project management were key responsibilities. Earlier experience includes serving as Press Officer and Communication Manager for Partito Democratico - Lecco and an internship in the press office of the Comune di Lecco. Vassena holds a Master's degree in Helping Relationships in Development and National and International Cooperation from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and has studied International Relations at Universidad Complutense de Madrid and International Sciences and European Institutions at Università degli Studi di Milano.
