Bo Stig Hansen has extensive work experience in various technology roles. Bo Stig is currently serving as the Director of Development at Configit since November 2021. Prior to that, in December 2020, they co-founded Norflax. From November 2016 to December 2020, Bo worked as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Soliton Systems Europe. Before that, they held the role of CTO at Excitor A/S from April 2012 to November 2016. Bo also worked as the Director of Development at Giritech from February 2007 to April 2012. Bo Stig started their career as a Development Manager at Maconomy from February 1999 to February 2007.
Before entering the industry, Bo Stig Hansen worked as an Associate Professor at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, Department of Information Technology, from 1990 to 1999, and as a Visiting Scientist at United Nations University Institute in Macau in 1996. Bo Stig began their academic career as an Assistant Professor at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, Department of Computer Science in 1986, after working as a Research Assistant from 1982 to 1986.
Bo Stig Hansen completed their education from 1973 to 1976 at Frederiksborg Statsskole, where they did not obtain any degree or major in any field of study. Bo Stig further pursued their academic journey from 1976 to 1982 at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, obtaining a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Computer Science. Bo Stig Hansen then continued their studies at the same institution, where they earned their Ph.D. in Computer Science from 1983 to 1986.
