Summar Jonas, SPHR has a strong background in talent acquisition and human resources. Starting in 2007, they worked as a School Secretary and Drama Teacher at Saint Luke Academy for two years. Following that, they joined North Shore Pediatric Therapy in 2009 and held various roles, including Director of Training and Talent Acquisition Manager. At North Shore Pediatric Therapy, they developed recruitment processes, sourced and recruited clinical staff, and cultivated relationships with educational institutions. In 2018, they transitioned to Opus Capital Markets Consultants, LLC as an HR Generalist and Recruiter, where they provided financial services consulting. Currently, they are employed at the Association Management Center as a Senior Manager Talent Acquisition, where they exceed the needs of nonprofit association partners. Overall, Summar Jonas brings extensive experience in talent acquisition, training, and administration to their roles.
Summar Jonas, SPHR has a Bachelor's degree in Theatre/Theater from Tarleton State University. Summar also holds a Human Resources Management Certificate from Harper College and has completed the Professional in Human Resources Certificate Program at DePaul University. In addition, they obtained the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021. Summar Jonas, SPHR also holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from HRCI, which was obtained in March 2019.
