Paul Riggs

Paul Riggs is currently the Director of Science and Sustainability at CooperVision, a position held since July 2002, where operations strategies for sustainability and scientific disciplines are developed and delivered. Previously, Paul served as Interim Senior Leader Europe for the Global Technical Innovations Group, overseeing the European division and introducing innovative processes and products. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Manager of European Technical Services and Materials Manager/Senior Manager, in addition to being a Senior Scientist at BIOCOMPATIBLES UK and a Scientist at Queen Mary University of London. Paul Riggs holds a PhD in Biomaterials from Queen Mary University of London, an MSc in Permeation of Concrete from the University of Dundee, and a BSc in Materials Science from The University of Manchester.
