Jeff Wanamaker has extensive experience in the insurance industry. Jeff currently holds the role of Chief Underwriting Officer at Core Specialty Insurance Holdings, Inc. since December 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Underwriting Officer (US) at StarStone Insurance from September 2018 to December 2020, and as the Head of Workers Compensation from November 2013 to October 2018. Before joining StarStone Insurance, they were the SVP-Underwriting at SeaBright Insurance Company from October 2003 to November 2013. Jeff also held the position of Vice President Underwriting at Eagle Insurance Group Inc from May 1999 to September 2003. Jeff began their career at Alaska National Insurance Company in 1989 as Vice President.
Jeff Wanamaker attended the University of Alaska Anchorage from 1987 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Economics. From 1989 to 1994, they pursued additional education at the Insurance Institute of America and obtained a Charter Property Casualty Underwriter and Associate Reinsurance degree.
