Danit Itzkovich is a dedicated Computer Vision Algorithm Engineer at Corephotonics Ltd since December 2020, focusing on projects related to obstacle detection for autonomous driving and fisheye image stitching for 360-degree imagery. Prior experience includes serving as a Master Student and Researcher at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from October 2017 to December 2019, working on robotic-assisted surgical data using deep learning and machine learning methodologies. Danit also contributed as a research assistant in a biomedical signal processing lab from 2015 to 2017, where responsibilities included manual classification of audio signals and algorithm development in Matlab. Early career experience in Israeli Military Intelligence as an Electronics Technician from 2010 to 2012 provided foundational technical skills. Danit holds a Master's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in the same field, both from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
