R. Alan Sawyer is a seasoned professional in environmental management and sustainability, currently serving as a Part-Time Faculty member at Conestoga College, instructing the indoor Environmental Legislation course. As Sr. Director of Strategic Initiatives & Environmental Sustainability at Cormorant Utility Services and former Director of Contract Management and Environmental Management at Infrastructure Ontario, R. Alan Sawyer has demonstrated extensive expertise in contract governance, project management, and environmental liability mitigation. With a strong foundation established through earlier roles, including Environmental Project Manager at Ontario Realty Corporation and Water Resources Coordinator at Grand River Conservation Authority, R. Alan Sawyer possesses a comprehensive skill set in overseeing multidisciplinary environmental projects. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources and Environmental Management from the University of Guelph.
