Matthieu Jourdan

Matthieu Jourdan is a seed quality testing lab manager at Corteva Agriscience since January 2022, bringing extensive experience in genetic quality control and project management from previous roles at Vilmorin SA, where responsibilities included managing international projects and overseeing genetic quality management. Prior to that, Matthieu worked as an engineer at ARVALIS - Institut du végétal, focusing on biotechnology and wheat resistance studies, and completed a doctorate in plant genetics at Université d'Angers, investigating carotenoid biosynthesis in carrots. Additional experience includes positions at Syngenta, where Matthieu conducted genetic data analysis for sunflower and canola breeding programs, as well as internships in agricultural research and selection. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in plant genetics from Université d'Angers and an engineering degree in plant improvement from L'Institut Agro Rennes-Angers.
