Heather Yang Hwalek

Heather Yang Hwalek currently serves as a Senior Program Officer at the Gates Foundation, providing expertise in international affairs and government relations. Additionally, Hwalek is a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations and has held the role of Advance Associate at The White House, assisting First Lady Jill Biden with high-profile engagements. Previously, Hwalek worked on the Elizabeth Warren presidential campaign and spent over a decade at the U.S. Department of State, where roles included Foreign Service Officer and Executive Secretariat aide.
