Covenant Woods is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation led by a volunteer Board. As a Life Plan Community, the majority of our residents reside in independent living apartments or cottages and lead active lives. We also offer assisted living, memory support and health care residences and services. Our job options span from nursing to housekeeping to dining, and other administrative positions. We hope you will visit our website at www.covenantwoods.com to find out more about us. Located in southeastern Hanover County, Covenant Woods is 12 miles from downtown Richmond. Living or working in this community, you are within minutes of shopping, dining, entertainment and cultural and medical destinations. Travel to the airport, Colonial Williamsburg, mountains, beaches and the nation’s capital is easy thanks to nearby interstates. Mission: It is the mission of Covenant Woods, a not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community, to provide our residents with exceptional care, quality of life, and security and comfort in keeping with the benevolent vision of our Methodist and Presbyterian founders in 1883. Vision Statement: We will be the leader of innovative and resource-efficient Continuing Care in Hanover County. It is the vision of Covenant Woods’ leadership to provide a residential environment and a non-institutional service delivery program to meet the needs of older adults. This will be accomplished by developing an integrated care concept incorporating the following levels of care: independent living, assisted living and health care.
