John Branstad

John Branstad has extensive work experience in the tax sector. John started their career at EY as a Tax Consultant, where they handled client assignments and contributed to The Ernst & Young Tax Guide. John then joined RR Donnelley, where they served as Vice President of Tax, leading global income tax accounting and compliance processes. During their time at RR Donnelley, they also played a key role in the spin-off of two companies. John later moved on to LSC Communications, where they held various roles, including Senior Vice President of Tax and Executive Consultant. John transformed the Tax Department into a standalone department and supported the company's transition after an acquisition. Currently, they are working as Vice President and Global Head of Tax at Covetrus.

John Branstad completed their education history with the following degrees: a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the University of Chicago in 1999, a Master of Science (MS) in Accountancy with a Specialization in Tax from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1992, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting from the same university in 1991. John also holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Illinois, obtained from the Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS).
