Maria Georges

Maria Georges is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in eDiscovery, artificial intelligence, and information governance, serving as Special Counsel and Vice Chair at Covington & Burling LLP since October 2006, following her role as a senior associate in the White Collar Defense and Investigations practice group. In addition to a robust legal career, Maria has been the owner of Beyond Hot Yoga Centreville since April 2013, successfully managing a hot yoga studio in Northern Virginia while also completing over 500 hours of yoga training and various certifications. Maria's legal background includes positions at Venable LLP, UNHCR, Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, LLP, and the World Organization Against Torture, complemented by a Doctor of Law from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
