Karen Matelic

Karen Matelic, CEM, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in event operations and marketing communications. Currently serving as Lead Manager of Event Operations at CPA.com since February 2019, Karen has held multiple roles including Manager of Events and Events & Marketing Communications Manager. Previously, Karen was the Chief Marketing Officer at Sunny Media Group, Inc., where responsibilities included overseeing marketing and advertising initiatives. Additionally, Karen has a background in education, having worked as a Teacher and Substitute/Student Teacher, and held leadership positions such as President of MCA-I. Karen's academic credentials include a Master's degree in Educational Studies from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in Communications and Media from Madonna University.
